Gold and blue, the pep rally, the cheers, and most importantly, the sports. AIS/ EA day has been an annual tradition where both schools compete in various fall-season sports: cross country, field hockey, soccer, and tennis. This season, all of these sports have played EA at least once. Unfortunately, the results have not been great. Both Agnes Irwin’s soccer and field hockey teams lost to EA by one, and tennis also lost. On the bright side, our cross-country team has beaten EA’s scores several times this season. Although soccer lost, we are still tied with them in the Inter-Ac, which is a plus for us. Agnes Irwin has a notorious record of losses to EA, but this year, we have high hopes despite the losses in our past and the disadvantage of playing away. So, will this finally be our year to have our name on the flag?
