Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons of salted butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ cup white chocolate chips
- Pink chocolate chips
- Dried Rose Petals
- Edible Gold Leaf
- Heart Sprinkles
Instructions
- Combine your flour, baking soda, butter, egg, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Gently stir the dough with white chocolate chips. Refrigerate the dough for at least 70 minutes. The dough should not stick to your hands when you roll it.
- Preheat the oven to 355 degrees.
- Scoop or roll the dough into balls. Place them on a baking sheet and put the others in the fridge.
- Bake for 12-13 minutes or until your liking. Do not overbake.
- Let the cookies sit on the hot cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes, then gently remove them with a thin metal spatula to a piece of parchment paper on the counter.
- Let them sit until completely cool. Melt pink chocolate chips.
- Dip cookies into melted pink chocolate to your heart’s content. Garnish with dried rose petals, gold foil, and heart sprinkles if desired.
- Put into the fridge for 20 minutes. Store in a sealed container.
